![]() I'm not even thinking about casuals trying to achieve that with a seasonal character. I understand that upgrading Legendary Gems should be endgame and challenging, but it just seems not really motivating for casual players. Lets say (as I am casual) I can get 5 hours a week playtime, that means 10 weeks (over 2 month) to get a gem upgraded to Rank 50 Since D3 Vanilla release I may have 500 hours in total play time. To get to level 50, that means 50 hours of playtime. 1 hour of gameplay time for 1 level upgrade for 1 gem. Step 2: Trial Rift (5 minutes), 3 Rift Runs (20 minutes) + 1 failure (15 minutes) = 40 minutesĪll in all: approx. Step 1: From loggin into a game until boss is killed: 5-7 minutes (times 3 = 15 - 21 minutes) Step 3: NPC spawns (does he always spawn) and get 1 Level (!!!) upgrade on 1 Gem. Step 2: Upgrade GR Key to a level where I can still beat the boss after failing. Step 1: Do "normal" rift on highest possible difficulty (T5) to obtain a GR Key -> I did three rifts on T5 solo and did not receive a GR Key. Please note that I tried to do solo (non seasonal char) as I dont have to much time available and searching and finding a decent group on PTR seems to be too timeconsuming: So I hope you guys can help me out and improve my way of doing it. ![]() I spent some time on PTR again as I wanted to get used to the current system of "upgrading gems".Įither I am not too experienced or just doing it wrong, but it seems to be a very timeconsuming/frustrating thing.
